I don't usually enter giveaways because I've never won anything, but I made an exception this week: Sarah at Rhinestones and Telephones posted about a giveaway from Heyday Vintage Style for a £100 voucher and that was too good to pass up!
I like making my own clothes but these things are so cute that I would love to spend that much on myself! I'd definitely spend it on the Mary dress in Chili Pepper - I have a wonderful pair of dark red and creme patent t-bar shoes that need something like this. Plus I'm so on a red and white kick right now! Frankly, this dress would look fantastic with my red and white Irregular Choice shoes, but the others need time in rotation and they're the right style for this dress. I'd spend the rest (plus some cash) on a pair of the Swing trousers - definitely the navy with red buttons - and I have the perfect blouse planned to sew for them: Colette Patterns Jasmine, using a Kokka Trèfle lawn in a super-cute red and navy print on creme. And I'd wear my t-bar shoes with it, too. Or maybe even my red and white polka-dot heels from Not Rated. Those would definitely make the outfit. I don't think I've been so inspired by red, white and navy in a long time.
